This is the Hogarth Sunday # 884 2/15/1948 from the sequence that was censored (the queens beasts were removed! see Couperie A History of the Comi Strip page 138) when it first appeared in the late 1940's in Holland. The story and this art was also used as one of the Little Golden Book style books tht featured tarzan- both the Couperie and Golden book will be included with the art. The bottom tier is missing (and I would love to own it) A prior owner had replaced it with a stat and I recently had Chris Kohler just recreate it in ink the stat also wil lbe included. He did a really good job with it. Will be for sale at pulpfest near pittseburgh in 2026- if interested inquire. I prefer selling it in person as shipping art of this value is a major headache
