Description

This was the first piece of original art I ever bought. Back in the late 80's I believe. I was around 15 or 16 and Mike Zeck was my favorite artist back then. it was a con in NY, I don't remember if it was the old Javitts one. I saw Mike at the con and just did a fanboy thing and couldn't say anything. later on in the show I saw a dealer with a stack of pages and saw this one, I thought it was interesting because it was penciled and lettered but not inked. Brought it back over to Mike and got it signed!

over the years I completely forgot about it, but it was tucked away in one of my old art portfolios, so it stayed safe.

A couple years ago I was able to meet Mike thanks to John Higashi and John Beatty (thanks again guys!). I showed the page to Mike but he couldn't remember why it wasn't inked :). (I have the issue somewhere, and I remember the page was in there, but I don't recall how much of it was changed, if at all.)
