Arthur Suydam - Zombie Spider-Man

I was extremely excited to meet Arthur Suydam at the 2007 Pittsburgh Con. I got to the con pretty early, so I could try to get a sketch from him. When the convention opened, I booked to his table and was first in line. He wasn't even there yet!

Arthur showed up a few minutes later but without any art supplies. His wife had them all! We chatted for a few minutes and a line started piling up behind me. He said without a pen, he couldn't sketch. I told him I had a fine tip marker and he said that would work. Arthur spent a solid 10 minutes working on the sketch, turning the book this way and that way, for shading, look, etc. He said sorry for the rough sketch but I think it turned out great! In fact, I ended up getting back in Arthur's line the last day and he flipped through my book and saw the sketch he did before. He said it looked alright but he wsn't happy with it. He added some final touches, more shading and drool and such. Love the sketch! Thanks Arthur!
