Description
How cool is this 1960's Batman page. Batman and Robin find themselves on the Moon. and this was about 5 months before Neal Armstrong's famous first step. I love the space suits and the Batman and Robin logos on the suits. How great is the Jokers head floating in space. Robin feels "as light as a soap bubble!" Always looking for 1960's Batman art, especially if it is inked by Joe Giella.

Your dad was a great inker for so many DC artists -- love the Brown/Giella combo, and this is a great panel page.

Batman and Robin on the moon at the time of the moon landing. And the Joker to boot. I like it. Another page you own that goes beyond the character. You have a knack for picking up pieces that represent an era or event. Thanks for displaying it.

Excellent and spooky page! I was so pleased to see this at the Society of Illustrators exhibition in NYC last year. One of the favorite Batman stories from my childhood.
