Description
Wolverine # 66 (volume 3) Page 5
"Old Man Logan" Part 1

A beautifully sad page with a defeated Logan trying to hold it together for his family. This is our first look at Logan's family (wife/Maureen, daughter/Jade, son/Scotty).

I'm very fond of the #66 pages, especially those which focus on the Logans. This is one of the best. It really sets the stage for all of the family life pages which come after, and Logan's emotional journey for the storyline. We see his family for the first time, and first learn of his money troubles. These two things will be the driving force behind everything that comes after in the series, so in that sense, this is one of the most important pages in the run. From an artistic standpoint, I love the bottom left panel of Logan, half in shadow. Stunning work by McNiven and Vines. Very cool! Congrats!
