Description
Original syndicated gag cartoon, Simpkins (created by George Crenshaw in 1971), drawn by Jim Willoughby. Pen and ink. 28 cm * 22,5 cm (11" x 8 3/4"). Simpkins was your “everyman” blue collar worker who toiled everday at a different task. Jim Willoughby took on the drawing task in 1974. Crenshaw also created the dog panel, “Belvedere.” This panel is from 1976. Signed by Willoughby & Hoyle
