Ryan Sook: Kamandi studies A Orora

      Ryan Sook is doing great work on Jack Kirby's Kamandi for Mark Chiarello's Wednesday Comics project. He didn't make it to San Diego in 2009, but Alan Bahr of Heroes in Campbell, CA brought Ryan's art for sale. He says the final inked pages look incredible. The third image of Orora on horseback is close to the final panel of Wednesday Comics #3. The flying machine is a different shape and a group of apes in a jeep and on horseback chasing the girl replace the mountain background. In the final inks, the girl's head is turned toward the reader rather than looking away.
