Description
Dynamic Man Mystic Comics #1 – 4 (March 1940 – August 1940) The Dynamic Man, the "man of the future", was essentially Frankenstein's monster done right. An artificial being, created by Professor Goettler, and brought to life with thousands of volts of electricity; Dynamic Man had super intelligence, x-ray vision, magnetic and electrical powers, invulnerability, "super-Herculean" strength and the ability to fly. Using the assumed name "Curt Cowan", Dynamic Man joins the FBI in order to keep on top of situations where he can put his abilities to best use. The spies, smugglers and thieves that Dynamic Man took on in his four recorded adventures never stood a chance. Another of Dynamic Man's super powers was his imperviousness to lawsuits. Given the number of similarities to a certain "mild mannered reporter" and the proceedings launched by DC Comics against Wonder Man, Master Man and Captain Marvel, it is amazing that Dynamic Man escaped similar legal attack. The Dynamic Man strip was credited to Daniel Peters. He was the cover feature on issue number 2, with art chores handled by the ever reliable, Alex Schomburg.
