Lo spagnolo Miguel Angel Martin è nato a Leòn nel 1960.
Autore di una prolifica produzione, fatta di copertine di CD, locandine cinematografiche (Killer Barbies di Jess Franco), manifesti per festivals, per gruppi musicali spagnoli e inglesi, illustrazioni e disegni per giornali e riviste... e, ovviamente, i fumetti che non cessano di riservare sorprese. Pubblica regolarmente sul mensile spagnolo El Vibora (www.Elvibora.com) e strisce quotidiane su alcuni giornali.
La rivista Time lo ha definito "uno dei migliori disegnatori europei". Ha vinto il premio "Autore rivelazione" nel 1993 al Salon Internacional de Comics de Barcelona e il premio YELLOW KID come "Migliore disegnatore straniero" all'Expocartoon di Roma nel 1999.
