Description

Infectious Lass and Color Kid try and fail to capture Ambush Bug. The art on this piece is so clean and sharp but the dialogue is even sharper and witter. This is a perfect example of why I miss word balloons on today's comic art....

I feel the same...there is something missing--that coordinated magic of words and art--that is missing from today's art. I recall reading this when I was kid and just loving the characters, even if they were never, ever successful heroes...this was Giffen at his best....
