NYCC 06. This con is memorable because it was held in February and it was freezing cold outside. Moreover, it was poorly organized, being the first NYC Comicon put on by Reed Exhibitions. Confusion reigned over where to line up for tickets and to get in, and the exhibition space dedicated to the con was too small. Many folks were turned away at the door, reportedly because the fire marshal was concerned about crowding. eed Exhibitions, however, bounced back, applying the lessons learned to put on an excellent NY Con.)
