this is a cell from one the early asterix and obelix movies..
i have no idea which movie thou..
niether do i have any idea who made this piece..

i bought it at an auction .. no certificat ..the only known info was that is was afrom an old movie and not the new bungs..

in the scan the hooking holes where cut off

If you still have this image, then treasure it. This cel belongs to Asterix and the Golden Sickle, the 1968 film abandoned when Ren� Goscinny and Albert Uderzo took charge of the Asterix films Belvision was making. I'm enclosing a photograph taken of one of the few remaining cels of the film, where the images of Asterix and Obelix match up. http://lostmediawiki.com/images/7/71/Goldensickleflim2.jpg Obelix is known for carrying mehirs around, and by the looks of his hands, the cel for the menhir wasn't added at the time the film was cancelled. It is definitely Golden Sickle, as that and the 1967 film Asterix the Gaul are the only films where the characters had four fingers on each hand instead of five.
