Signed by Ernie Bushmiller and dated for Friday, August 4, 1978 (08/04/78). This strip was chosen by Bushmiller to be reprinted. Underneath white out and paste-ups is the original print date for August 24, 1971 (08/24/71). Overall light cream color. Some white out corrections.
Trimmed very close top and bottom. As with most Nancy originals, the top surface of the two-ply bristol was surface-cut vertically down the center (between the panels). Partially slicing the strips was typical for its original mailing to the syndicate. This allowed the strip to be folded for easier mailing, without the surface breaking/creasing/ripping haphazardly. Double Printing. Overall approx : 51 cm * 13.5 cm (20.5" * 5.5"). Image approx : 49 cm * 13 cm (19.25" * 5.25").
