Description

4 hand-colored & signed plates by Barry Windsor Smith from the Fantastic Islands portfolio, published by Gorblimey Press in 1978. #3/25 copies ever made. A good number of the hand-colored editions were destroyed in a flood unfortunately. As a result, it is believed that between 15 to 20 copies of this hand-colored portfolio are still 'in circulation'.

I own the same set.The photo does not do the color job justice.Barry went all out on fantastic islands,unlike the 4 ages.Im not sure Barry used acid free materials.One of my plates has some acid burn from tape.

Nice set - I once owned #11 so we can start documenting which still exist.
