Description

Rough for Old Slipperyskins, Vermont's venerable Colonial era monster -- be he bear, or be he bigfoot? I opted for the bear archetype, and this was my early version, very different from the final illustration that saw print in THE VERMONT MONSTER GUIDE (University Press of New England, 2009). This was gifted to CCS Alumni (Class of 2007) and Ignatz-Award winning cartoonist and colleague Colleen Frakes, who loves bears.
