Tinkerbell

This is a commission I recently completed for a five year old's birthday. Admittedly, I'm not known for Disney characters. Their streamline designs run counter to my photorealistic proportions. Thankfully there's a CGI Tink these days so I used a wallpaper for photo reference. Another challenge was the quality of photo for the girl. With the aid of both a color 4 x 6 and a large printout I more or less judged the features reasonably well. All in all it turned out to be a worthwhile endeavour. Etched on 9 x 12 Bristol Board with graphic leads.
