Let me start off by saying that Jim Balent is an incredibly nice guy. In the days of Ebay, any artist who will take his time to draw full figure sketches for people is incomprehensible. The only thing that he asks if your time standing in line. As he was sketching this piece we had a great conversation about a pitch that he had made to DC Comics. Apparently, he and some other creators were trying to talk DC into bringing back Batgirl.
