Description

Original cover drawing for True love Problems #28 (Harvey, July 1954). Why somebody attached a First Romance stat is a mystery. Also, the cover was signed by Lee Elias in the lower right corner, but the dot had fallen off. Harvey authority Ben Samuels made this suggestion regarding the artists : " It's Kremer layouts with Lee Elias finish, no doubt. I don't think it was censored. It's hard to be sure, but my best guess is the white-out was probably just Lee Elias putting the best finish he could on his own work". Actually, the white-out only covers a dress with flowers. I decided to leave the stat and frame the cover as it was. I only added a new Lee Elias signature dot, which Ben had kindly supplied.
