Greene - BUF - Comic strip june 22nd 1955

Original Bringing Up Father comic strip 6/22/55 drawn by McManus’ replacement, Vern Greene (1908-65). This strip was drawn by Greene in the first year of his association with it. Heavy paper. Pen and ink. 46 cm * 16 cm (18 1/4" x 6 1/4"). Signed and inscribed to Bill Lignante. Original drawing paper is solid and untorn. Paper is yellowed around all the edges as seen in scan and has slight buckling from moisture exposure. From The Bill Lignante Collection
