Description

This is D'Spayre entry from the Official Handbook of the Marvel universe drawn by Rick Leonardi, an artist I can never get enough of.As a teenager,I loved the book for its description of characters, their histories and their powers.But also and probably even more so because of all the fantastic artists who contributed to it, teaching me to recognize their style in a heartbeat.I fondly remember going through the book (as through DC's Who's Who), playing at naming the correct artist who drew which entry :) D'Spayre also holds a special meaning for me as its a character popularized by the famous Dr Strange 55 drawn by Michael Golden,probably my top artistic hero.Anyway,an amazing pinup by a splendid artist :)

Fantastic pinup ! Very striking, partially due to the amazing rendering of D'Spayre's cloak. Well, Leonardi is know for rendering cloak's quite well, isn't he...:) Congrat !
