Description
(December 22, 1942) (McClure Newspaper Syndicate) This rare and early prime example of Joe Shuster & Jack Burnley "Superman" comic strip art is entitled: "Santa Tells 'Em Off!" by Jerry Siegel. The first panel features Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo discussing extensively their plans for world domination by kidnapping Santa Claus. The second and third panels actually show Kris Kringle literally telling the three tyrants off. In the forth and final panel, it features Superman standing atop the madmen's lair with a Nazi Swastika flag waving in the background. This panel also shows Superman exclaiming, "Good for you, Santa! Give those maniacs an earfull!" as he uses his X-ray vision to eavesdrop on the conversation between Santa and the dictators. Quite simply, one of the greatest Superman dailies known to exist. (6-1/2" x 21-1/2") (Jerry Siegel: 10/17/14 to 1/28/96) (Joe Shuster: 7/10/14 to 7/30/92) (Jack Burnley: 1/11/11 to 12/19/06)

Been enjoying my stroll thru your Golden Age collection, but this one is truly un-believe-able!
