He published his first comics in several fanzines in the mid 1980s. He began his professional career in the advertising field. He also began illustrating for Midi Libre and newspapers. He self-published his first comic book in 1988, called 'Destins Croisés'. Achdé joined the publising house Dargaud in 1991, where he began his series 'CRS = Détresse' with scripts by Erroc and Raoul Cauvin in 1993. Other series for Dargaud were 'Woker', about an interplanetary Tarzan with Roger Widenlocher, and 'Doc Véto' with scripts by Christian Godard. Also with Widenlocher, he created 'Fort Braillard' in Spirou. As a scriptwriter, he made 'La Esmeralda' in cooperation with Jean-Marc Stalner, based on a novel by Victor Hugo. At Bamboo publishers, he started 'Les Damnés de la Route' with Hervé Richez. In 2003, he and scriptwriter Laurent Gerra took over the famous cowboy series 'Lucky Luke', following the death of its creator Morris. Breda 2010. Thanks Herve, it was great meeting you!
