Warrior and Dragon

Dragon (or a Rok type creature) and a fierce-looking barbarian from my latest sketchbook. Used micron pens over pencil for this one. Tried to really play with the outlines to create a feeling of depth. Going to print this one directly on 1/2" Gatorboard and then apply watercolor directly to print. (Hopefully, in the style of William Stout… using black outlines with washes of color.) Will be at least 18x24 when done. Artwork ©2010 Christopher M. Saghy
