Description

Emilio J. Lopez is a friend of Chris Beaumont, who did a piece in my Star Wars sketchbook a couple of months back. I ran into Chris at the MoCCCA Fest, and he introduced me to Emilio. Looking through Emilio's portfolio, I really liked his art, and decided to get a sketch from him. I'm a big fan of Alan Moore's Tom Strong series, and happened to have one of the ABC TPBs with me, since I thought a couple of the artists might be there. So I asked Emilio if he would sketch Tesla. He was obviously inspired by drawing a character he had never done before, because he put a hell of a lot more work into this than I expected. It looks fantastic.
