SUPERGIRL AND THE LEGION - Jim Mooney

I asked the gracious Mr. Mooney to create me a commission piece with Supergirl, the Legion HQ, and any two Legionnaires he wanted. He chose Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl, which worked for me.

If you're a Supergirl fan, which I am, having a piece of Mooney art featuring that character is the be-all end-all. Jim's drawn lots and lots of superheroes over the years, but Kara is "his" to many people.

I was surprised to find this art actually published as a spot illo in TwoMorrows' LEGION COMPANION volume. I assume Mr. Mooney keeps stats or nice photocopies of the commission work he does. That's cool - it was fun to see it in print!
