DC SPECIAL #6, pg 5 (1970)

DC Special was a comic book title that reprinted past stories, usually based on a common theme; western, crime, science-fiction, etc. These pages were reprinted from the Legend of Daniel Boone #1, 1955. The pages shown are the original art used to publish the story as it appeared in DC Special #6.

*However* these reprints where printed from stats of the original art, not the actual original artwork drawn by the artist. So, is this the “original” art used to produce the DC Special comic book? Yes, but its paste-up stats of the original artwork, NOT the actual original artwork from the 1955 story. Clear as mud?
