LONG LIVE THE L.E.G.I.O.N.!!!

Following their debut in INVASION! (Mini-Series) #1 (Jan. 1989), L.E.G.I.O.N. ("Licensed Extra-Governmental Interstellar Operatives Network") began their own monthly series which ran for 70 issues and 5 Annuals.

This is the Original Art for the Cover of L.E.G.I.O.N. '89 #1 (Feb. 1989) by super-star artists Kevin Maguire and Al Gordon. The Cover is an homage to the famous "I Want You to Join the U.S. Army!" recruiting posters.

I'm pretty sure that most of these covers were Thumb Nailed by Erik Larsen... Cool cover!

One of the most under rated series in the late 80s early 90s. The Story and Art were awesome throughout. Nice to know the OA is out there, congrats on this one.
