Description

I had been meaning to contact John Lucas for a while after seeing his CAF gallery, so when CAF collector Matthew West told me he was going to be at Soonercon I had to pull the trigger. Batman enraptured by Poison Ivy in her garden.. a beautiful piece by a great artist, be sure to check his gallery. Thank you Mr Lucas for a wonderfull addittion to my collection! Also a big thank you to Matthew for setting this up.....Long Live the GCA!

I'm so glad you like it Brian. It was really fun to watch John tackle the complex layering and shadow effects in person. I love the symbolism and intricate design of this composition, and your choice of Poison Ivy as the rogue in this commission really seemed to play to John's strengths as an artist. Well-chosen, sir!
