Description[Purchased through Hoffman International, june 2010]For enjoying the really happening, adventurous and enthralling graphic art and comics, as done to be keeping the soul and school of *mystery pulp* both as any hopes for parental advisory alive, Mike Hoffman will be a name to remember. To be reckoned with. This delicate inked and watercolored piece has me cornered like some perky damsel. As to me it seems to be calling out: "Come hither! From behind your safely bagged and boarded, carefully lidded shut long-boxes! And be to face fiction in its truest form!" As the likes of Frazetta, Wally Wood or (the admittedly lesser known) Moses-Bob "Arteries" McCloven would know it... For keeping the soul alive, like blooming cacti amid but barren wastelands, or fair maidens among cavemen about to fart or salivate. This Mike Hoffman and his stuff.
