Thanks, mr John Painz! And thanks so much for sharing all that information on this piece's inception! For mye the (Dutch translated) DC comics material introduced me to Mignola so this piece is still the benchmark of my collection.
Can't have been this particular piece as a matter of fact, Frank. Plus didn't you notice that at that particular sale these smaller items were only supposed to sell one per customer - in order to give more buyers a chance?! Nobody was yanking at anything or only us silly buyers ourselves! Anyway, you congrats on the solid Ouija board box cover 'though. You should feel very fortunate with it.
This page is so BOSS! Awesome to see all the design and layout come about. Congrats.
Love the story and I felt over the moon for having fun times with the wonderful mr. Stout as well. The drawing is really excellent! (Which may have extra meaning since I'd feel myself strictly a Beefheart man more rather than any Zappa one :-j)
Holy crap, that might well be my favorite Death Dealer, 'cause he looks to be passing by more rather than coming for me. Phew! Awesome piece.
Whoah, Hein De Kort. That's a grail right there. Super buff to the max!
Hahaha, I do. Just look at it 'though. Or maybe I'm one wordy mother. You should hear me on tasty taters...
Olivier, no selling of these since this character wouldn't be my property and I am as yet only trying at creating things for gaining experience. Thanks much for your interest and consideration 'though, much appreciated! ~ Keez L. (les Pays-Bas)
Big congrats Pete! This developed into something so grandly terrific, it boggles the mind - even for people without helmets. But then, good art tends to have that :-).
I love how mr Tex is actually making the faces when he draws. He does that you know :- ].
It's playful, cool, enticing, apt & beautiful. Must be Mignola.
Stunning piece. Glory galore. That guy seems to be throwing candy or riches or faerie-dust. Even 'though it's man-dust more like... SWEET! :-D Lovely cheekbones as well.
Congrats Neil Hill, as this page harbors a LOT of awesome, underwater even!
Very cool. Something seems to have scared away the flock of bats 'though. Or did old Bruce just sneeze there?
YAY for dark & moody!! Except maybe for my late sour grandma in the mourning, but that's another story. Guy Davis rocks.
Hello! Captivating and apt. What a treat. One of my favorite Jusko pieces ever. Although I might not have seen everything just yet.
O how exquisite! The shoes are insane, the nipple is brutal, the rest utterly fierce! Congratulations seem in order.
Glorious! I wager from up close that fire to scorn brightly and that sky just whirling with hot burnt filth!!
Curses! I erroneously deleted this piece and the comments with it. So please feel free to comment or comment again...
Sheesh, will you look at that! Gloriously good. Tex really is a comic art heavyweight!! Congrats Simon.
Beau-ti-ful. Mr. Kitson made it look awesomely lush here, both as darned knowledgable, demonistically speaking.
Aww, such lush goodness by Ryan Sook! Really lucky. Sweet sketchbook as well. Of course I bought mine too :-p.
Sweet piece Max! Mr. Tex sure pushed the boat out with your (and John's) piece. And deservedly so.
Cool piece Max! Obviously you have good taste. And it was swell seeing Barry do this one. Congrats on a well-earned treasure.
Awesome. What wealth! You must be walking on air, sleeping on air, or sitting in it!
Beautiful. Gloriously composed lettering too: only Mignola can dream up 'schau schau' for a sound effect!
Yeah Vin/sang, I believe a cover for a Disney thing which was cancelled back in 1984 or st. Totally magnificent 'though!
Tantalizing art! And somehow I take a shine to horned crimson badass characters...
That makes for fine art, and a great story. Thanks for sharing Michael.
Wow all over! It's big Red in summertime (to me anyway). What a very special piece, by one of the very toppest of notches.
The very best indeed... I feel he's seeing me and he looks so purposeful. Intimidating, but in a good way. Many congrats Leo Anderson!
What art this mr. Dell'Otto pulls off, I mean... Rhaaa. Magnificent. Great about this piece is it's pencil only, yet reaching easily the same standard as his colored work: it shows this man has some talent!! However you really can't go wrong here: comics, liquor, a good cigar now and again...
Hells Bells, being a Mignola-fan, I still have to say this being top-notch, I guess thanks to the way Nowlan manages to compliment Mike's pencils. And there's fishing too...
