That early run on Excalibur was one of the unparalleled landmarks of comics history, if you ask me. It contained a little bit of X-Men, a flavour of the soon-to-be Harry Potter, and then echoes of Monty Python, Once and Future King, Shelley, Yeats, Tolkien... It was a magic run, and Kitty Pryde was definetely the female lead (the male, Nightcrawler). Davis work was then at his peak, in my opinion. You have here a wondeful and meaningful piece of art, congrats.
