KRA-POW!!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! This is number 5 in my series of collecting comic art on the cheap, although in this case, the freebies are over. I picked up this little
treasure on my last day at Comic Con 2006 on my final sweep throught artist's alley for a mere $10.00 bucks. I bought this page mainly because A) it was a nice sound effects page and B) I'm a cheap b@stard. As I was searching the internet for more on information on this and the other pages I purchased this year, it turns out this one was a Forrest Gump type of find. This page is actually from the controversial "Nightwing #93". In this issue, Nightwing aka Robin first allows the Tarantula to kill the villain Blockbuster by shooting him in the head (the above "KRA-POW"), and is then raped by her. Both the writer and artist of this issue have given conflicting answers as to whether Nightwing was actually raped
by Tarantula in the last scenes of the comic. You'll have to check out the end of the comic to judge for yourself (if you are a blind judge). Cheap comic art count, 5 pages, total cost, one Hamiltion.
