DescriptionBeautiful subtle pencil work for an unpublished unfinished Tarzan drawing. Every time I look at this I seem to find something new. While scanning this Gem, I realized the Tarzan figure was actually standing over a nude woman. Tarzan is facing down what looks like a human body, but the head seems to be of an animal, possibly a lion.If ANYONE knows anything about this piece, I'll be more than happy to share it with everyone. I think Tarzan is stepping between the girl and a big cat.

My guess is it's a big ape. He's either holding the girl in his left arm, or it's simply overlapping where she is lying on the ground. Cool piece!

At first I thought it was the back of a cat wth the tail overlapping the woman, Now it looks like a bear to me.

Beautiful prelim, definetely a big cat. Like a black panther or sabertooth.
