Description

I've always loved the painting Carson of Venus by the late Great Frank Frazetta but it's in a collection and even if it was for sale, It's so far out of my range that it will always just be a dream to own something so Amazing. This painting has had me mesmerized for way to long and so I finally decided to get a hold of my good friend Brian LeBlanc and asked him to do another painting for me. I sent him the image by Frank which he recognized but told him that I'm not a big believer in reproductions. So, I told him that I have always loved the deep richness of the ocean and also loved the small ship lost in the vastness of the ocean and of course, the sea serpent in the back ground. So, from there, we made some changes to make it a different painting. You can still obviously tell that its a homage to Frank's painting but I think Brian did another Fantastic job on this painting which I'm very happy with and thank Brian again for all his hard work. This painting is a mixed media with all the finishes done with Alkyd paints and the size is 12x16 on canvas paper.
