Description
This cover to Green Lantern #127 is the first piece of art that Brian Bolland ever created for DC. It's gained even more fame over the years, as it was reprinted for use as the cover to the Trade Paperback of TALES OF THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS Vol. 2, and was one of only 12 covers reprinted by DC for its portfolio THE DC UNIVERSE BY BRIAN BOLLAND.

As a Green Lantern art collector, however, perhaps the coolest thing about this piece is that it was recently selected by Geoff Johns as the third-most iconic Hal Jordan cover, in an article published at Comic Book Resources (http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2009/09/21/top-five-most-iconic-hal-jordan-covers/).

Okay, I am very very VERY impressed! The detail on this cover is amazing. And I love how Bolland included some of the more unusual-looking alien members of the GL Corps. Congratulations on obtaining such an amazing cover.
