In the early issues of the book, Lightning Lad was always at loggerheads with Superboy (I'll stick to that even though both the cartoon and the comic call him Superman). After Superboy beat his vertical maze record, Lightning Lad challenged Clark to a series of contests. In this funny page, Ma Kent's recipe easily beat Lightning Lad's culinary efforts. Thanks to Angson for telling me that Alex was selling pages - but not before he'd picked up the splash page for himself. Hmmph! (Hobbystar Fan Expo, 08/2010)
