This scan shows a purple backdrop that's somewhat closer to the reality of the piece. This has much more punch and contrast in person than this indicates, though.

Description
Bruce Timm's affectionate homages to Hammer horror films make "Little Shoppe of Horrors" a must-buy publication for me.

Here we see scenes and characters from two of the final Dracula films from the early '70s starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, "Dracula A.D. 1972" and "Satanic Rites of Dracula". Caricatured also here are Stephanie Beachum, Christopher Neame, Michael Coles, and Caroline Munro.

I think this is a major Timm piece. I'm thrilled to own it! I'm told this has also seen print in "Naughty and Nice: The Good Girl Art of Bruce Timm", with two prelims.

As a huge Bruce Timm fan, this only proves there is nothing the guy can't draw and make it look amazing. Great piece.

All of Bruce Timm's art is enjoyable to look at, but this one is undoubtedly a heavy hitter and has it all. Highly detailed, numerous characters - it really stands out. WOW & congrats!

As good of an example by Timm as one could ever hope to have. My lady and I fit some Hammer viewing in every October. And the one and only Caroline Munro front and center in such a strong composition? My goodness. Color me envious.
