Description

A first year daily from Leonard Starr's On Stage. The strip's principal character, aspiring actress Mary Perkins, moves from small town Holmesfield to Big Town NYC. Initially with few acting credits to her name she finds it difficult securing any roles and in this daily has taken a part-time job in a night club as a cigarette girl. A fellow co-worker, Louise is berating Mary for not clipping tips. She tries to do Mary dirty but is eventually fired for pinching too much coin.
