"The Last Atlantean"

"The Last Atlantean" A Unique Version of the Classic "The Last Atlantean" by the great Barry Windsor-Smith.

So, long story short, some 20 years ago or so, I acquired the Original Color Separation of this Print, directly from the Publisher, Todd Adams of Glimmer Graphics. I knew it was a unique and beautiful piece, but couldn't figure out a way to display it properly. About 5 years later, while in Okinawa, Japan, of all places, I found a Gallery/Framer, who said he could do something with it.

This display/shadow box is the result. I then, mounted incandescent track lighting inside the shadow box, and put a large mirror on the back inside, to evenly distribute the indirect lighting, and finally, added a dimmer switch.

I'm a terrible photographer, and these pictures do not do it justice at all; when you dim the lights low, and darken the room, it looks like a Stained Glass Window in a Cathedral!

Very eretheral, beautiful, enchanting.

Anyway, a unique presentation of this great piece of Barry's!
