DescriptionI like Southeast Asian imagery, so Cameron Stewart's art for The Other Side was a powerful draw for me. While I'd stop short of calling this Vertigo mini-series about the Vietnam War a fun read or escapist entertainment, I enjoyed it nonetheless. I was particularly impressed by Cameron's brilliant interpretation of Jason Aaron's literate script, evocative at times of the styles of several EC artists, but filtered through his own.

Aaron's debut was most impressive, and Stewart brought his A game as well. I recall reading that Stewart did a lot of research, incl traveling to Vietnam, to do the story justice. This splash provides clear evidence of that. Congrats!

My sentiments exactly Aidan, I look at this gorgeous rendition and can't help but lose myself in The Jungle Book also. Absolutely fantastic!

I never saw this series, but now I want to have a look. Great looking splash and Stewart does really fine work. Definitely has an Angkor Wat vibe with that fallen Buddha head and of course the tigers are super cool.
