Wonder Woman cat fighting as a cage fighter! With Black Canary in attendance Diana tries her hand at cage fighting, dressed as a Mexican wrestler in what we may consider Wonder Woman’s worst costume ever! tm. You’ve got to hand it to Gail Simone she really mixed it up and had fun in her stories and this was a perfect example, even it turned serious very quickly. Naturally Diana expects this to be a short fight, she’s Wonder Woman after all, but her cloaked opponent has other ideas and just palms her fist nearly breaking her arm!. Who could it be ?. Diana soon discovers it’s Pele’, the Goddess of Volcano’s and the daughter of the god Kane. Kane was the God Diana pledged herself too and that Zeus later slaughtered to take his heart for Achilles. A death that would not have occurred had Kane not helped Diana in her hour of need. So in a roundabout way Diana is directly responsible for Kane’s death and Pele’ intends to make her pay dearly for this.
