Awesome!, I have always really loved this cover. JLA 105 was also a great story.
Great pick-up!, Funnily enough DC didn't like this one for print, can't think why.
This piece is the Essence of Circe. kudos to Fred for helping it happen
Great piece, unbelievable detail in the background carnage!
Astonishing again, this would be an amazing cover. But hang on a minute, where's Circe ??
Ah, I should have guessed this commission was yours when I saw it on Ivan's page!. It is absolutely epic, great concept and detail.
Great piece, you get the feeling there is a whole story behind it.
Epic WW action!. Congratulations.
Probably, no definitely, my favourite Chiang Wonder Woman cover, for all the reasons you mention. Great pick-up.
WOW!. I had no idea Joe was such an ourstanding artist in his own right. This is SPECTACULAR. Perez himself couldn't have done a better job on Circe. Did I say WOW!?. WOW.
Nice piece. A very important page in Wonder Woman's story.
Like most Deodato Wonder Woman pages this one has a great energy to it and of course features that very rare thing - a team up between Wonder Woman and Circe. Great use of forced perspective in the half splash panel too.
Sometimes an artist will hit it out of the park on a con sketch. THIS is one of those times. Beautiful.
This piece just crackles with life. You know, the more time that passes and the more current art fashion moves towards photo referenced illustration, the better these pages look. Deodato was the original and the best of his style, aped and eventually ruined - Image - aheh, but never bettered. A bit like this.
Very interesting take on the character, definitely not the common 'cookie cutter' approach.
This is an excellent piece that tells it's own story. Did you know George once did a trading card based on the same theme (using a totally different composition of course). Epic.
With Perez and Wonder Woman you can't really lose but this is top drawer even for him. You know, looking back this would've been a better, more appropriate cover for WW600 - the issue that has turned out in retrospect to be a 'love letter' to the character - than the cover he actually did.
I wasn't familiar with Chris' work. Until now. This is gorgeous.
Astonishingly....astonishing. Bolland is my all time favourite artist from way back in the early 2000 AD days. Congratulations on acquiring such an iconic piece.
I've always liked this unpublished cover more than the original. Great piece.
Great fun!. Zatanna as Slash totally steals it from Diana though!
Although it's difficult to pick one, this is probably my favourite AH! Wonder Woman cover. There is nothing about it that I don't love, from the overall composition framed by the clawed hands of the mad Bat to the grouping of the terrified figures, to the brilliant facial expressions on each and every one of them. Most of all though I love how Robin is hanging onto Diana's leg. Genius.
Looking at the rather deranged Wonder Woman in this piece you can understand why DOMA wanted to bring her in. Also, why she doesn't get many dates.
This was the best version Aaron did of Donna's various Amazon costumes throughout his run. VERY smart of you to ask for it without her screaming chicken helm on.
This is well executed. It's hard to draw the head at that angle and keep it looking pretty. Eddy's obviously an artist that is going places.
I remember this scene well and think this might be the best splash from Terry's run on the book. I'll admit to a twinge of jealousy!. Congratulations.
Really nice piece and the sketch is just unbelievable. Adriano is surely due some major recognition soon.
Nice job Trevor, the 'colour theory' looks good to me!.
Ha!. Talk about creating a rod for your own back, how's he going to top that next year ?. A very special piece.
''E's passed on! The Bat is no more!, He has ceased to be!, 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker!. 'E's a stiff!. Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-BAT!! (To be done in best John Cleese voice). Great splash, by the way.
You know what, I almost prefer this to the finished piece, is that allowed ?. Lovely.
Very very cool. Congratulations.
An Absolutely great Black Canary.
Ah "The Spy who love me" pose. It never gets old. Very sexy.
