Description

I first discovered Katie Cook's wonderful artwork when I pulled one of her Star Wars sketch cards a few years ago. She is such a cool artist, and I've been hoping to get something by her in my Star Wars sketchbook since then. At the 2010 New York Comic Con, she was all booked up for large pieces, but she was doing these quick little painted doodles. I asked her to do one of Jabba the Hutt. Who would have thought anyone could make Jabba look cute?!? She even added a tiny Han Solo frozen in carbonite hanging in the background.
