DescriptionOne of my favorite George Clark The Neighbors panels. This piece is just a brush & ink delight, as Clark seemed to really enjoy drawing the work table of the fix-it guy. And the body language of the figures....just great. That little kid anchors the whole scene with such sweet and solid drawing. His father explains the dire situation to the fix-it guy: "But that radio has got to be fixed today! My kid can't do his homework unless he's listening to a murder program!" It doesn't get much better than this for George Clark fans. 11/4/44.Social/Sharing |

They're all good, but this one is terrific. I knew nothing about Clark before, beyond the brief piece in Becker's book.Thanks!

I love how this one just pops with tubes, tools, casings, dust, shadows and life.
