Nelle prime avventure, quelle pubblicate sugli Albi d'Oro Mondadori, questo leggendario eroe del west non usava MAI la colt, ma solo e sempre il "lazo". PECOS BILL non uccideva. Probabilmente nel periodo delle edizioni Bianconi avrà cambiato idea, oppure è stata una "svista" del pittore.
