On very, VERY rare occasions I've looked at a piece of art after awhile and thought 'Why did I buy that?'. On the other hand, there are pieces that, no matter how long I've had them, are still as exciting as when they first arrived. This is one of the latter.

Wrightson's wonderful brush work from the early 70s is among my favorite comic art, and while I still lust after other pieces of his, this one has all the goodies. A great drawing, outstanding brushwork, and even some delicate line in the cemetery to give that creepy, misty feeling. I've forgotten exactly when I acquired it, but it was around the 1990 mark I think, and I still get a charge out of it every time I see it.

WOW! I remember seeing this image used to advertise CBG well into the 80s....it creeped me out then, and creeps me out now. Not much creeps me out, so that says a lot for this bit of amazing work by the macabre master-VERY NICE!

This is wonderfully creepy... I owned it at one time, and I only sold it (at Sotheby's) to buy my first home... PLEASE let me know if you ever decide to sell this.
