Description

The terrific gag in this episode of Spuddle's Sports Shoppe first appeared in an earlier Mister Oswald strip (see the other image below). Johnson often recycled gags between his multiple trade magazine comic strips, but the drawing and narrative never wavered. This is Johnson's typically wonderful big-foot humor at its best. Circa 1950s.
