DescriptionAfter spending a few months searching the internet for Superman / Doomsday art, I stumbled upon the now defunct comic art website, The Comic Art Wherehouse. This site featured art that had been inked by Brett Breeding, inker for many of Dan Jurgen's Superman pieces. A featured page on this site was this splash page, which I paid for (at that time) the most I had every paid for a piece of comic art $1,000.00. The other Superman / Doomsday pages for the Doomsday / Darkseid fight were not listed, so I asked if they were for sale. I received a response back of yes (comic art collecting tip, if a page is not featured "ASK!), purchased page #32 as well, and bought the remaining ones from "The Artist's Choice" during the next comic art sale.Social/Sharing |

In my mind, nowadays, without Brett Breeding masterful brush, Dan Jurgens's art just doesn't look as good. As your pages show - they BELONG together (at least art wise :) )... I sure hope someone will wise up at DC and get Brett Breeding back to doing monthly inking... Comics is just not the same without his magic touch. Thanks for sharing these powerful pieces !
