Excalibur 50 Cover (Alan Davis)

Strange story behing this cover. There is another version... apparently "the definitive" version owned by another CAF collector (the characters are on a separate overlay if I remember correctly). This one is on a single sheet and was sold by Alan at the beginning of this year (2010) via is mailing list. At first I thought only the background would be in full ink (with copied characters) but to my - very good - surprise, the whole page has been inked. Maybe it was on copied pencil... I will certainly never know... but I don't mind. This is EXACTLY the art I always wanted to have from Excalibur so... :-)
