Description

This is the original comic art to Madame Xanadu #16, page 1: A new story arc begins with a day in the life of 1950's housewife, Betty, as she strolls past Saks 5th Avenue in New York. It's pencilled by me, Amy Reeder, and inked by Richard Friend! I drew it on standard DC comic board and it measures approximately 11 x 17 inches.

Written by Matt Wagner and published through Vertigo, Madame Xanadu received four Eisner nominations in 2009: Best Writer, Best New Series, Best Penciller/Inker, and Best Cover Artist. This particular page is from the story arc "Broken House of Cards."
